Just months after landing the coveted Academy Award for his performance in The Revenant, Leonardo DiCaprio has announced investment in Runa, which aims to support Ecuadorian farmers through fair trade.

Instead of looking for products with Fair Trade certification seals, look to businesses with the B Corp certification. B Corp is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic certification is no milk. B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards to improve environment, workers and community with accountability and transparency.
