Last night the Diocese of San Francisco, Diocese of Oakland and the Diocese of San Jose collaborated to make celebrants of Mass for the Dead For Our Homeless Brethren at St Patrick's Cathedral aware of Catholic Relief Services Ethical Trade by displaying an informational table in the downstairs hall afterwards. Equal Exchange and Catholic Relief Services' Fair Trade coffee named Mama Tierra was served. Many came by with questions about Ethical Trade, how they could support it in their everyday lives and how they could include it in their parish Advent and Lenten seasons. Many thanks to Martin Ford and Patrick Shadonnay for making this happen.

Successful Ethical Trade Sale at St Simon's Catholic Church
Thank you St Simon's Catholic Church for conducting an Ethical Trade Sale this past weekend. Everyone who attended took the opportunity to be an artisan for peace. The small farmers and artisans around the world thank you for bringing dignity to their workplace, providing opportunities for their children to attend school and making their communities stronger.

Democratic participation is a cornerstone of Fair Trade. By voting on how to spend their extra Fair Trade funds, producers create positive change in their communities. Will you join us in doing likewise today? Please vote!
